Archaeology's Interactive Dig
July 2003-July 2009InteractiveDig Sagalassos
There can be no doubt that the colossal nearly 4.50 m tall (nearly 15 feet) seated statue of Apollo Klarios, preserved except for its separately carved head and the arms, was the find of the week. In the meantime, we have also found the lower right part of the throne and the pedestal supporting the lyre.
