Strike Closes Tourist Venues in Greece

The workers are protesting reforms that they say could eliminate additional jobs and “constitute a tombstone for the Culture Ministry.” Greece’s continuing financial crisis has led to severe budget cuts and slashed security personnel at its archaeological sites and museums.
