Ringve is Norway's sole special museum in its field, with national responsibility for music and musical instruments. Since its beginning in 1952, instruments from the four corners of the world have found their way to the exhibition rooms at Ringve, and the museum has distinguished itself as an enthusiastic communicator of music history.
