Relics of the Indians who lived in the Big Bend region for 10,000 years are in the collection, including nearly 3,000 intriguing arrowheads that were ceremonially placed at two mountaintop rock cairns about a thousand years ago—as well as a lone pair of fiber sandals someone left behind.
