Corpus Christi
The Espíritu Santo had three astrolabes aboard. But the navigation instruments didn't help one stormy night in 1554 when the Spanish vessel and two sister ships wrecked off the Texas coast. Today they're the oldest scientifically excavated shipwrecks in North America. Artifacts from La Salle's Belle are also on display.
