YANGON, BURMA—A team looking for disassembled British Spitfires that were buried in Myanmar after World War II has discovered a wooden crate filled with muddy water. “It will take some time to pump the water out, but I do expect all aircraft to be in very good condition,” said David Cundall, an aviation enthusiast who has been searching for the planes for the past 17 years. As many as 36 war planes could be hidden underground.
