ISTANBUL, TURKEY—The Anadolu Agency reports that 19 illegally exported objects held in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Italy have been repatriated to Turkey. The items include a Quran that had been owned by Ottoman Sultan Abdulhamid II; a Roman terracotta vase; a bronze statue of an emperor dated to the late second or early third century A.D., and two bronze coins minted during the sixth-century A.D. reign of Byzantine emperor Justin I (A.D. 518–527).
