GIA LAI PROVINCE, VIETNAM—According to a VN Express report, the remains of 32 Vietnamese soldiers and wartime artifacts were discovered in Vietnam’s Central Highlands during the construction of a house. The family building the house alerted authorities when they uncovered bone fragments and several artifacts at the beginning of construction. The artifacts include buttons, canteens, ballpoint pens, rubber soles of shoes, bullet belts, carbine rounds, wallets, combs, cigarette holder handles, and copper bracelets. Researchers have expanded the search area to look for additional remains. It is not yet clear in which war the soldiers died.
