DEVON, ENGLAND—According to a BBC News report, an excavation conducted by researchers from the Dartmoor National Park Authority has uncovered a 3,900-year-old cist at Cut Hill, which is located in North Dartmoor. The stone-lined grave was radiocarbon dated with charcoal recovered within the burial. Archaeologist Lee Bray said that the cist contained multiple pieces of wood that appear to have been shaped and cut. The contents of the burial have been removed for further analysis.
